The Need for a New Website
For years, Roxton Industries provided the convenience of being able to purchase their products via their e-commerce store. As the company grew however, they started to outgrow their website and e-commerce platform. They needed more flexibility and control over the site and a better understanding of the site’s performance. They also needed to be able to change the look, feel and content of their site easily and found their old platform was too restrictive and cumbersome.
Partnering with MoreSALES
Roxton Industries engaged MoreSALES to improve the UX (user experience), provide more flexibility and control over their website and enable better analytics so their team could gather important insights on the site’s performance. MoreSALES commenced to rebuild the site and migrate them to a new e-commerce platform.
Some of the key facets to the project included:
- Ensuring no losses of Organic traffic during the transition
- Fixing Google Analytics to provide more reliable site data
- Linking Roxton’s e-commerce system to their accounting program with dynamic importing/exporting of orders and customer data
- Linking their e-commerce system to their preferred payment and shipping platforms
- Setting up a phone ordering system to be able to take orders manually
Over a period of four months, the team at MoreSALES worked collaboratively with the Roxton Industries team to map, design, build and launch the new site on a new e-commerce platform.
Not only does the new site have a clean modern look with improved navigation, it also provides a much greater degree of flexibility and functionality for the Roxton team.
