Toshont Power Products, established in 1993, is a Canadian distributor of Toshiba Industrial Electrical products. Their line of products include: low and medium voltage motors and VFDs, UPS, Power Apparatus and Components and PLCs. Of course, Toshont Power Products also provides installation and service expertise. In just three short years, Toshont realized that a lot of their customers needed customized power solutions. To satisfy the demand, Toshont opened their own Custom Controls Panel shop in Burlington, ON in 1996. They’ve also opened sales offices in Sudbury and Montreal making them one of the largest and fastest growing distributors of Toshiba Industrial Products in North America.
To round out their product line, Toshont also carries other leading brands such as Siemens, Power Systems Technology, Techtop and Schneider Electric.

Custom Control Panels
Toshont’s Custom Control Panel shop builds all types of panels that include VFDs, Starters, PLC and control equipment with CUL/UL and CSA approvals. All of their work is guided by their ISO 9001: 2015 certified QMS program. You can find their panels in many industries including wastewater, industrial, agricultural and mining.
Toshont works closely with each customer from start to finish to ensure their custom designs meet the requirements of any site. They also have the capability to provide special service panels for hazardous and corrosive environments (NEMA 4x) and OEM panel assembly services are also available.

Already having an online catalogue of products, Toshont was ready to take the next step to build a full e-Commerce site in order to sell it’s most commonly stocked motors and drives. After making a number of site enhancements, work began on the online store which is expected to go live before the end of January 2021. With a fresh look and feel to the website, MoreSALES created and implemented a new SEO strategy to drive more traffic to the site. Within a few months, Toshont was seeing upward trends in traffic, engagement and conversions improving overall website ROI.

To help in this matter, MoreSALES worked with Toshont to establish a calendar outlining specific keyword focused content needed to support the SEO strategy and drive more traffic to the website. To take on some of the heavy lifting, MoreSALES writes blog content based on bullet points provided by Toshont. This ensures they are putting out consistent content of value for their prospects and clients.

When we first met with Toshont, they were in the early stages of adopting CRM and consequently, had a very fragmented database. Our team went to work right away to compile their contacts from multiple databases into one central platform for the purposes of consistent and professional lead nurturing.
