Just Vet Solutions is a boutique software company providing clinic management solutions that help veterinarians and their teams operate more efficiently. Born from Mibusoft, a Gold Certified value-added reseller of Microsoft-based solutions, Just Vet Solutions was conceptualized in 2021 by Shawn Arsenault and officially launched in 2022 with Gord Werstine at the helm (formerly Director of Business Development at MoreSALES and Mibusoft’s Account and Project manager).
Among all the IPs (Intellectual Properties) under Mibusoft’s umbrella, Shawn realized that the one they built for the Veterinary industry (SoftVet), filled a significant gap in the market and was powerful enough to stand on its own. “We felt it would be prudent to spin off a company that was 100% focused on the Vet industry and the unique challenges it faces” Gord says. And so, they founded Just Vet Solutions.
According to Shawn, “other software solutions providers in the vet industry are still providing their clients with technology that is up to 15 years old. Technology has advanced rapidly over the past 10 – 15 years and we’re using those advancements to help build more efficient Vet practices.” What makes this Kitchener, Ontario-based company unique are its advanced solutions that seamlessly integrate with most popular accounting packages. Just Vet’s platform (SoftVet), is Canadian-made and has the front and back-end orientation a Microsoft product would have.
The Challenge
After launching Just Vet, Gord and Shawn saw that their website was ranking on page 7 on Google due to competition with Microsoft and other vet software products. Gord reached out to the MoreSALES team for help with branding and a marketing strategy. When asked about working with MoreSALES, Shawn explains, “So far in the last 2 months, we have seen a dramatic upswing going on in the market with Just Vet Solutions and Mibusoft. We’re happy things are moving forward with both companies”.
Website Development
The team at MoreSALES built and launched a brand-new website for Just Vet in June 2022. The necessary content on the Mibusoft site was migrated to the Just Vet site and 301 redirects for these pages were applied on the Mibusoft page. For example, Any Warehouse, a Just Vet solution, is also one of Mibusoft’s products. So, Mibusoft’s vet customers can be linked to the Just Vet Solutions website. MoreSALES also supported and launched a French translation for the website so that customers in Quebec and other French-speaking regions are not left out from benefiting from their solutions. Within the first month of its launch, the website had already started gaining organic search traffic and ranking for relevant keywords related to Just Vet solutions. MoreSALES’ efforts are expected to yield stronger results over time with ongoing content development.
Branding
For their re-branding, MoreSALES developed new logos for the Just Vet brand, and the eRx Vet and Soft Vet solutions. Other assets created were a new LinkedIn profile header, a Soft Vet competitor comparison chart for the website, a company email signature, and product explainer videos.
Google Ads
About one month after the launch, the team was able to achieve a 4% click-through rate through Google Ads traffic gaining over 50% of the search impression share with average monthly spend. 36% of the sessions created by this campaign were engaged sessions meaning the visitors spent longer than 10 seconds on the site or viewed two or more pages. MoreSALES’ efforts are expected to yield stronger results over time with ongoing analysis and optimization.
