Ardea Technologies is one of Ontario’s largest and most experienced manufacturers of custom control panels. Its mission has been to deliver world-class automation control systems to elevate its customers’ success. This Guelph, Ontario-based company, has been a MoreSALES client since 2018. At that time, they were known as Long Bridge and housed three brands, IDT Systems and Machine Control Systems (MCS). They decided in 2022 to join the strengths of these three and rebrand themselves into one parent organization – Ardea Technologies.
The sales and marketing team at MoreSALES worked in conjunction with the team at Grant Thornton to address LongBridge’s need for growth in 2022 and beyond. The MoreSALES team focused on:
- Developing the new name for the business
- Writing their new positioning statement/ slogan
- Designing a logo and brand identity to replace all three brands
The symbolism behind the new name, logo, and branding is taken from the Purple Heron, also known in Latin as “Ardea.” It was a perfect fit as the Heron is revered in Chinese culture, one of Ardea Technologies’ most prominent markets. Amongst its many positive attributes, the Heron symbolizes renewal and good fortune, central to Ardea’s efforts in rebranding and restructuring their company. After establishing a new logo design and brand colors, these were applied to all other marketing and communication materials, including email signatures, marketing sheets, PowerPoint templates, business cards, and stationery. The MoreSALES team rebranded and refreshed their website by keeping it up to date with the new logo, fonts, and colors. They also assisted in launching the new brand by working with Ardea Technologies to produce a president’s video message announcing the changes.

Using SharpSpring CRM, MoreSALES developed automated pipelines for their sales representatives. They also use this system to retrieve sales reports regularly. The team at Ardea Technologies was able to have the platform seamlessly integrated with their accounting system to help them run their business more efficiently.
Google Ads Management
MoreSALES has been running a Google Ads campaign for Ardea Technologies to generate leads monthly. The ads are triggered by a set of keywords that are adjusted regularly. In addition, text ads displayed to searchers are A/B tested against each other to determine the messaging that will best resonate with the target audience and attract them to the website. MoreSALES has also developed a custom landing page to ensure visitors are given all the necessary information. Visitors are then presented with a form and call to action to convert them into a lead. Ardea’s sales representatives are then notified of a lead, who is then nurtured by an automated campaign.
