I can’t believe it’s been 16 years since I founded MoreSALES! We’ve been through some crazy times over the last decade and a half and our team expands and improves every year. We started out in the spare room of my home in Cambridge then expanded to office space in Galt, but thanks to COVID and Zoom technology our growing team now works just as effectively remotely.
Over the years we’ve added great team members as well as some awesome services that our clients have come to value and rely on.
In the early days we focused on branding, business development, print advertising and website design, but as technology and communications opportunities evolved so have our capabilities. Our electronic presence is no longer confined to just websites. Our specialists run marketing automation platforms, re-build client databases and launch virtual events. Just this month we ran a multi-week virtual conference (See Vertex SMART Remediation story in this newsletter).
We’ve really rounded out our services for the business-to-business (B2B) community, who always need help on their sales and marketing efforts.
Embracing our 2008 positioning “Are you surviving or thriving?”; during the economic downturn, MoreSALES grew by providing meaningful support to our expanding client base by offering services not part of the normal marketing mix like market research and appointment booking services.
Taking the opportunity to really help Canadian businesses take advantage of the new electronic communications and marketing methodologies, in early 2012 we became more focussed on digital solutions and fostering more in-depth relationships with our clients rather than just project-based deliverables.
This strategy has help us grow even over the past year despite the pandemic by turning on ecommerce and Google Ads for our clients who were unable to get out and sell as usual.
I love working with our clients and seeing the data-driven results we get them every month but even more I love the team that we have built here at MoreSALES. We all support each other and work closely as a team (despite being hunkered down in our home studios) and that shows in the quality of work that we put out each week.
On a personal note it’s been great to have my middle son Evan join the team last September and get nothing but kudos from our customers.
So as we emerge from the shut downs and get shots in our arms I look forward to seeing our clients again not just on screen but in person hopefully over the summer!
