A Century to Celebrate!
Ball Construction marks its 100th year of building Canada’s future since 1923.
On Thursday September 7th family, friends, management, employees, subtrades, suppliers, associates and customers gathered at the St. Georges Banquet Hall in Waterloo ON to raise a glass to 4 generations of Ball success.
Over 450 guests enjoyed entertainment provided by the Emily Kemp Trio and Turning Corners Band. The festivities culminated in greetings and speeches from Tom Ball (2nd generation of Ball ownership), Jason Ball (President), Gary Hauck (partner receiving his 40-year award), Rod Aitken (partner), Jeff Kienapple, Senior Vice President of Commercial Insurance at Gallagher (appreciation from associates and suppliers) and Mayor Berry Vrbanovic (who presented a citation from the City of Kitchener).
As Jason Ball so eloquently states in his speech: Its about people, its about passion, we have some of the finest working for us in the industry, they are part of our team. Our business partners, our trade partners are so valuable to us. Nobody could last 100 years without the support of everyone on the team…people of great character, ethics, and integrity. That is what we expect and that is what we were founded on back in 1923.
This timeless business philosophy has clearly served Ball Construction well over its first 100 years and will continue to resonate over the next century.
